Ode To Manmarziyaan

 ''Mein tenu fir milangi,
 kis tarah, kidhr,
 pta nhi..."

There is an instance in the film when the main lead actor says these lines and the lines touch deep inside your heart as it was essential to use these lines here. I watched this movie on a random Sunday and it was a bit of fun to watch this movie, the movie in itself is a beautiful ode to complex relationships of love, life, and beauty that rely upon knowing what are you doing. When I first watched this movie I was a bit perplexed by what the movie is about. The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap, and released in 2018. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles.
The story revolves around Rumi (played by Taapsee Pannu), a free-spirited young woman who is torn between two men – her long-time boyfriend Vicky (played by Vicky Kaushal) and the more stable and mature Robbie (played by Abhishek Bachchan). As Rumi struggles to make a choice between the two, she must also navigate the expectations of her family and society. The film explores themes of love, commitment, and personal freedom, and received critical acclaim for its strong performances, nuanced characters, and realistic portrayal of relationships. The film's soundtrack, composed by Amit Trivedi, was also widely appreciated.

Overall, "Manmarziyaan" was considered a departure from Kashyap's usually dark and gritty style and was praised for its sensitive portrayal of modern-day relationships. Although most of the tracks of the film are really appreciable as all of them are catchy good and have good lyrics, all the tracks are enhancing the storyline and they do make sense wherever they are added. Somewhere the storyline was confusing also as it didn't make much sense at times, the plot was really strong but what didn't come up to the brim was the story of the movie. where the love triangle is there but in the end, it boiled down to all three of them being toxic in their own selves.

Overall the movie is worth one time watch. It can be a fun movie for a Sunday afternoon. Easy, Light and won't make you think alot.
